We have supported and continue to support environmental initiatives within the community. Our endeavours to prevent oil pollution from accidental spillage, vandalism, leaking tanks, collisions and operative neglect has included close liaison with the Environment Agency, and recently in collaboration with the Oil Care Campaign,
"On Wednesday 17th October Barton Petroleum Limited in Wellingborough took time out from delivering oil to receive advice from the Environment Agency on how to prevent pollution and how to use special "spill kits" to limit the harmful effects of an oil spill. Barton Petroleum is one of twelve oil distribution companies in the Midlands working with the Agency to reduce harmful oil pollution accidents as part of the National Oil Care Campaign. The Environment Agency is keen to raise awareness of oil pollution prevention measures and is grateful to Barton Petroleum for their involvement and their commitment to the Campaign..."
